Flush with Excitement at Camp Yaw Paw

Parents, Scouts, Leaders rejoice! Camp Yaw Paw has officially entered the modern age — yes, the dining hall is under renovation and now features individual bathrooms with actual flush toilets! That’s right: no more nervous walks to the old pit latrines while rehearsing “I can do hard things” under your breath. For many Cub Scouts, the thought of using the old facilities was more worrisome than spotting a snake on the hiking trail. Now, campers can focus on fun instead of bathroom bravery. Special thanks to the Yaw Paw Foundation for supporting our renovations.

Located in beautiful Mahwah, New Jersey, Camp Yaw Paw offers five exciting weeks of Cub Scout summer day camp beginning the week of July 6. Boys and girls can spend their days exploring our scenic 200-acre camp while enjoying outdoor adventures like archery, swimming and paddle boarding on the lake, BB range, fishing, Cub skills, nature lodge activities, and much more.
