Last summer, a bunch of Scouters visited our Scout camp on a hot sunny day. We asked our Scouts “what’s the best part about camp” and they all said “the food!”
We knew Camp Yaw Paw had to step up its game!
This summer, we have an entirely new Dining Hall, featuring a new layout to accommodate a new commercial kitchen, a new storage room, and camper restrooms. Special thanks to the Yaw Paw Foundation, whose help made this possible.
The new kitchen at Camp Yaw Paw is being fitted out as a commercial kitchen with all new appliances – range, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and more – to allow the kitchen and dining hall to serve full meals at council, district, and other events. It is also available for 3-season use.
