We’ve noticed a trend this year: more families are discovering—often by accident—that their Cub Scout, Scout, or adult registration didn’t renew during recharter. It’s nobody’s fault, but it can create real headaches when a Scout tries to sign up for camp or a big event and suddenly shows as “not registered.”
A quick check now can save a lot of stress later. Reach out to your unit leadership to confirm that both youth and adults are currently registered and active in the system.
Remember: you must be registered to participate in any Scouting event, including summer camp. Let’s make sure every Scout who wants to be there can be there.
